Our Mission

The mission of MPSK8 is to promote, develop and grow Roller Skating at all levels and to enable our customers to achieve their full potential by providing Sessions, lessons and camps that provide opportunities at all levels from recreational skating through to national Roller Hockey and GB Skate Artistic levels.

About us

Marilyn and Paul have both been skating since they were children, meaning they each have over 40 years of skating experience; from ice hockey to speed-skating, figure and recreational skating, as well as skating on inline skates and quads.

After helping to build up and develop sessions in Portsmouth, Guildford, Havant, Farnham, Farnborough, Camberley and Bordon for another company, they soon discovered that people wanted more than just sessions gauged towards getting people into Hockey, so they left to concentrate on running MPSK8 with their unique style and family friendly attitude, welcoming all to their sessions, no matter what they skated in and what style they choose.

MPSK8 are not only sponsored by a well regarded college, they are helping students learn a new skill and learn how to become coaches themselves. MPSK8 also work with 3 school trusts, 2 independent schools, 3 charities and run sessions for Home Educated and SEN students., as well as their skate for all sessions in Havant, Waterlooville, Alton, Portsmouth, Haslemere, Liphook and Compton, they have new sessions starting soon in Horsham, Guildford, Farnborough and Woking too!


Our Qualifications

Marilyn & Paul are England Roller Hockey Level 3 Accredited Coaches, trained by the England National Coaching Director himself.

Marilyn has coached at Regional & National levels, Paul has coached Regionally, Nationally and Internationally as part of the England Academy Coaching team.

Marilyn is registered with WIFSA (World Inline Figure Skating Association)

Marilyn and Paul are currently working towards their GB Skate Artistic Level 4 Coaching Qualifications
